(July 4, 2008) Rhian and I would join up with our friends Bill and Sandy, and Mark, Bonnie, and their daughter Shelby for the Braves game and fireworks show afterward. Mark had extra tickets that he kindly shared with us, due to the fact our friend Lemon (Leamon Johnston) couldn't attend. The Braves were on a 5 game losing streak coming into the game, local hero Jeff Francouer had been demoted to Double A, and his replacement, Jason Perry, who would hit a triple, driving in the second run, made his major league debut. We brought the Braves good luck (along with great pitching from Tim Hudson) and the Braves won 6-2. We had perfect seats for the fireworks, sitting directly opposite the display. to enjoy the pictures!
